12+ K-pop Artists Conquering Billboard’s 4th World Albums Chart THIS May 2024: SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, More!

The month of May has ended, which prompted Billboard to release the rankings for its newest World Albums chart. The list is one of the most prominent charts on the platform, as it records the most popular albums around the globe.

Among the releases from the week ending on May 25, several K-pop artists managed to secure spots on the World Album chart with their music releases.

Here are the 13 K-pop artists dominating Billboard’s 4th World Albums chart in May 2024!

1.    SEVENTEEN – ’17 IS RIGHT HERE’

According to Billboard’s newest World Albums chart, SEVENTEEN gained the No. 1 spot once again with their first-ever best-of album “17 IS RIGHT HERE.”

2.    TXT – ‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’

Released on April 29, TXT’s sixth mini album “minisode 3: TOMORROW” claimed No. 3.

3.    ILLIT – ‘SUPER REAL ME’

ILLIT’s debut album “SUPER REAL ME” reigned at No. 4 for the month of May.

4.    NewJeans – ‘Get Up’

The top five was rounded up by NewJeans’ second mini album “Get Up.”

5.    BTS – ‘Proof’

The No. 6 spot was claimed by BTS’ anthology album “Proof,” which was released on June 10, 2022.

6.    LE SSERAFIM – ‘EASY’

In seventh place, LE SSERAFIM took the spot with their third mini album “EASY.”

7.    NCT DREAM – ‘DREAM()SCAPE’

 

NCT DREAM’s “DREAM()SCAPE” managed to secure the eighth place for the week ending on May 25.  

8.    Stray Kids – ‘ROCK-STAR’

 

In No. 10, Stray Kids saw a boost on the charts with their eighth mini album “ROCK-STAR.”

9.    TWICE – ‘With YOU-th’

 

TWICE successfully claimed No. 11 with their 13th mini album “With YOU-TH,” which was released on February 23.

10.  BTS Jimin – ‘FACE’

 

Jimin followed in No. 12 with his solo debut album “FACE.” Despite being released on March 24, 2023, the album has consistently shown tremendous momentum across the charts.

11.  BOYNEXTDOOR – ‘HOW?’

 

BOYNEXTDOOR took over No. 13 with their second mini album “HOW?”

12.  ENHYPEN – ‘ORANGE BLOOD’

 

This was followed by ENHYPEN, who claimed No. 14 with their fifth mini album “ORANGE BLOOD.” The album was released on November 17, 2023.

13.  BTS J-Hope – ‘HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1’

 

In No. 15, J-Hope of BTS placed with his newest special album “HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1.”
