Many K-pop groups made buzz this May 2024 with their music releases, activities, social media presence, achievements, and many more. However, the noise surrounding individual K-pop idols was also evident. 
To measure their popularity, the Korean Business Research Institute officially released their brand reputation rankings involving all individual K-pop idols. According to sources, the organization collected data from April 23 to May 23.
The results were then determined by analyzing factors such as the engagement of the consumers, media index, communication, community awareness, and the overall exposure of the idols.
Here are the 15 most popular K-pop idols in May 2024!
1. IVE Jang Wonyoung
Jang Wonyoung successfully claimed No. 1 with a brand reputation index of 4,814,980.
2. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
Cha Eun Woo followed suit on No. 2 with a brand reputation index of 4,802,095.
3. IVE An Yujin
IVE’s leader Ahn Yujin claimed No. 3 after seeing a brand reputation index of 3,998,536.
4. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie trailed on No. 4 with a brand reputation index of 3,050,691.
5. Girls’ Generation Taeyeon
Taeyeon rounded the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,833,943.
6. BTS Jimin
With a brand reputation index of 2,553,867, Jimin made it on No. 6.
7. BTS Jungkook
The No. 7 spot was claimed by Jungkook, who received a brand reputation index of 2,440,616.
8. RIIZE Wonbin
Wonbin made it on No. 8 with an index of 2.313.800.
9. ILLIT Wonhee
Wonhee managed to garner a brand reputation index of 2,069, 609, earning her ninth place.
10. BLACKPINK Jisoo
Jisoo completed the top 10 with an index of 2,057,326.
11. BTS V
V of BTS gathered a brand reputation index of 1,871,330, which earned him No. 11.
12. ILLIT Minju
In No. 12, Minji placed with a brand reputation index of 1,869.057.
13. BLACKPINK Lisa
For the month of May, Lisa collected a brand reputation index of 1,659,713, placing her at No. 13.
14. BTS Jin
With a brand reputation index of 1,620,209, Jin secured No. 14.
15. Apink Yoon Bomi
