Get ready to fall in love all over again in Love Next Door!
The creators of the hit drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha are back with a new romantic comedy, Love Next Door. Starring Jung So Min and Jung Hae In, the story follows two people looking for a fresh start. There’s just one catch: they’ve known each other since childhood and have some awkward history. Will they be able to overcome their past and find love?
Love Next Door is directed by Yu Je-won and written by Shin Ha-eun, the talented duo behind the hit series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.
The story follows Bae Seok-ryu, played by Jung So-min, a woman looking to get a fresh start in life after a series of personal missteps. In her journey to rebuild her life, she crosses paths with Choi Seung-hyo, portrayed by Jung Hae-in, a celebrated young architect in Korea. Interestingly, Choi Seung-hyo is also the son of her mother’s close friend, a connection that adds layers to their relationship due to their shared, albeit awkward, childhood memories.
The narrative explores whether sparks will fly when Bae Seok-ryu and Choi Seung-hyo meet again as adults or if their old memories will get in the way of their potential romance. The dynamic between the two characters promises to be both engaging and heartwarming, offering viewers a frenemies-to-lovers story with plenty of charm and humor.
