Three Versions Provide Unique Packages
Three different options are available for the release of Astro Bot — the Physical Standard Edition, Digital Standard Edition, and Digital Deluxe Edition. Both the physical and digital Standard Editions are available for $59.99, a fairly standard AAA game price that’s now a slightly more budget-friendly option than the increasingly common $69.99 tag. This latter option is still put in use for the Digital Deluxe Edition, throwing in some extra bonuses to make up the 10-dollar difference.
In addition to the pre-order perks that all editions share, the Physical Standard Edition of Astro Bot includes a physical poster. Per the official PlayStation Blog post, the poster appears to be double-sided, with one side depicting a PS5 with a bustling interior flying through space and the other showing a comic laid out in panels. Although the Digital Standard Edition commands the same price tag and maintains the pre-order bonuses, it offers no substitute for the poster, making it the most minimal package available for the game.
