Upcoming Korean comedy film Amazon Bullseye (aka Archers of Amazon) has had two posters released that show the film’s stars, Ryu Seung Ryong and Jin Seon Kyu, surrounded by three Amazon native archers.

The first poster shows the two actors in the Brazilian jungle, and appearing to be terrified of the archers who are aiming arrows at them.

The second has the pair looking much more confident back home in South Korea, and with the archers beside them appearing to be overwhelmed by the ultra-modern city.

Both posters make the film look like it will be a pretty funny, over-the-top, slapstick comedy.

What is the Amazon Bullseye plot?

The movie itself tells the exciting story of former national archery champion Jin Bong (played by Ryu Seung Ryong) and his Korean interpreter Bbang Sik (Jin Seon Kyu) who meet three Amazonian archers with astounding skills.

The pair soon find themselves promoting the indigenous warriors as they prepare to compete in the World Archery Championships in Korea.

Amazon Bullseye will also see stars Ryu Seung Ryong and Jin Seon Kyu reunite for the first time since they both starred in the massively successful movie Extreme Job in 2019.

Bae Se Young, the writer who penned Extreme Job, also wrote Amazon Bullseye, while Kim Chang Ju (director of Call Restricted) is directing.

The film’s production committee also made sure Amazonian and Brazilian actors were cast, and that part of the movie was filmed in Brazil adding to its authenticity.

Amazon Bullseye is due to release in South Korea in October, 2024.

Enjoy the teaser posters, and we will keep you updated about the film here on Leo Sigh as more information is released.
