After Bae Suzy’s “Lovestagram” with Park Bogum, curiosity sparked if they are actually dating in real life. Here’s the idol’s response.
On June 4, Suzy met the Korean press to conduct an interview about its upcoming movie, “Wonderland,” co-starring with actor Park Bogum. 
Prior to its release, the two have been promoting the film on Instagram by sharing their “couple photos” where they even wore matching items and outfits.
With their overflowing natural chemistry, a lot were confused if they were actually dating in real life or had developed real feelings for each other while filming as on-screen lovers.
In the interview, the “Nation’s First Love” addressed this and teased the reporters, saying:
“Do you wish I could date Park Bogum in real life? That means we get along so well. Thank you for looking at us so well, haha.”
Suzy then shared that not only fans but even the staff think that they go along well with each other, narrating:
“The staff even said, ‘You two play well together.’ In the good old days, when we were filming videos, we had to speak informally, and we expressed this kind of relationship by joking around with each other. As we did this, we naturally became close friends and danced around a lot while waiting.”

As it is the first time that they worked together for a drama project, Suzy revealed her impression of the actor after getting to know him well, stating:
“I thought he’s handsome, warm and shining person. But he’s not just a good-looking person, he’s also strong inside.”
Meanwhile, Park Bogum in another interview also denied that he’s dating Suzy, but described that their relationship is very close.
In particular, when their co-star Tang Wei expressed her wishful thinking that the virtual couple should date for real, Park politely replied:
“I am really close friends with Suzy. I think comments like that (reactions about wanting us to date) might make things more awkward between us, haha.”
However, mistaking them as real lovers sound like a compliment to Bogum and expressed his gratitude for people looking at them with satisfaction. The actor turned this into a positive sign that this chemistry will be revealed in the movie and lead to rich appreciation.
He also mentioned his impression of the idol actress, saying:
“Suzy is very considerate and a very good friend. I had really good memories of filming, ‘Wonderland.’ With Suzy’s help, we talked a lot and we really did our best.”
Park Bogum also hinted at a possible new work with the actress, teasing fans. He said:
“The director half-jokingly said that he wanted to make a musical movie and when he looked at Suzy and me, he said he wanted to make a sweet and pretty story between the two of us. We like to do it as well.”
