BTS singer Jungkook has announced the upcoming release of a new single, called ‘Never Let Go’.

On May 2, Big Hit Music announced that BTS’ Jungkook would be releasing a new song later this week. Titled ‘Never Let Go’, the label has described the track as a “heartfelt tribute” to the K-pop idol’s fans with the message to ” never let go of each other’s hands”.

The label added that Jungkook’s ‘Never Let Go’ is also “a token of gratitude for the boundless love from ARMY all over the world”. The BTS singer will release his new single this Friday (June 7) at 1pm KST. The song is available to pre-save now on Spotify, Apple Music and more.

Back in December 2023, Jungkook teamed up with Usher for a remix of his song, ‘Standing Next to You’. The original version of the track first appeared on the BTS singer’s debut solo album ‘Golden’, which also featured the singles ‘3D’ with Jack Harlow and ‘Seven’ with Latto.

Jungkook is currently servicing his military service, after having enlisted late last year. Prior to his enlistment, the K-pop singer held a final livestream, telling fans: “I love you guys, I’ll be back stronger. Bye, stay well!”

Meanwhile, BTS leader RM recently released his second solo album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’. The K-pop star has since spoken about why he made the record, revealing that he felt like he had been “unable to say the things I want to say”.
