BTS’s Suga Could Have His License Revoked, According To The Police

[ad_1]

The results of his breathalyzer test are out.

Korean media recently reported that BTS‘s Suga is currently under investigation by the Yongsan Police Station for allegedly breaking traffic laws related to drunk driving on an electric scooter. In South Korea, electric kickboards, which are also known as electric scooters, can only be rented and ridden with a valid license due to safety concerns. They are subject to strict traffic regulations similar to those governing cars.

According to police reports, Suga was found lying on the street by himself on the night of August 6, 2024, after allegedly riding the electric scooter while intoxicated. A nearby patrol officer noticed the smell of alcohol on him and subsequently escorted him to the nearby police station for further investigation.

The latest updates from the police include the results of his breathalyzer test. Although they did not specify the exact percentage, the police reported that it had passed 0.08%, the limit for one’s license not to be revoked. As such, Suga’s license could be revoked.

For a man of average height and weight, it takes four to five drinks over two hours to result in a 0.08% result.
