Suho and Chanyeol were initially included in the lineup of the Aria Festival, where they will be giving performances on June 20. Many fans were thrilled with the announcement since they would get to create more precious memories with the idols.

Unfortunately, Aria Festival uploaded an announcement on its official X (Twitter) account declaring the cancellation of Suho and Chanyeol’s attendance. According to the post, the cancellation was due to circumstances during the preparation process.

“Due to our circumstances during the preparation process from the festival, Suho and Chanyeol will unfortunately be unable to attend the ARIA FEST 2024.

In the light of current situation, we inform you that the performances of the aforementioned artists have been cancelled. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this update may have caused. We are dedicated to ensuring a satisfying experience for our guests.

We are committed to delivering the best quality experience possible. Please look forward to further announcements. Your understanding and support are invaluable to us, as we aim to bring you an extraordinary event.

Thank you.”

EXO-Ls were enraged with the organizers and called them out for allegedly omitting the refund part of their initial announcement.

  • “People have already booked their flights and accommodation just to see Chanyeol and Suho! You cancelled the event a week prior and you’re not making a refund?”
  • “What a scammer move.”
  • “I don’t want to see EXO at your concert in the future. How can I trust your words after you deleted the tweet and rephrased the words?”
  • “Don’t delete the refund, it’s not your money. Give it back!”
  • “Where can we get our refunds then?”
  • “Are you missing the refund part?”
  • “You cancelled the refund part?”
  • “I want my money, give me a refund! Why you did delete it? Now explain, we want more and more details.”
  • “How can we get a refund? We basically paid for those artists as well.”

Furthermore, they also pointed out the announcement’s vague mention of the “circumstances,” which led many to speculate that this cancellation was indirectly related to SM Entertainment’s dispute with EXO-CBX.
