.On August 5, ATTRAKT uploaded an announcement about the group’s new fandom name on FIFTY’s official SNS. The agency shared that the new fandom name will also mark the group’s new beginning.ATTRAKT thanked fans unconditionally for supporting FIFTY FIFTY and asked for their continued love for the group. The post then declared the new fandom “TWENY,” replacing the former fan club name “HUNNIES.”The company then shared the meaning of TWENY.

“The number 50 in the mirror is seen as 20 due to the mirror’s inversion effect, meaning that FIFTY FIFTY is looking where the fans are and the fans are looking towards where FIFTY FIFTY is. It tells us that FIFTY FIFTY and the fans are always facing each other, co-existing in all moments.”

However, on social media platform X (Twitter), netizens rolled their eyes at ATTRAKT’s announcement. Netters mentioned their distaste for ATTRAKT’s efforts to re-debut the new FIFTY FIFTY, while others expressed discontentment with the fandom name.

Some also vented out regarding the agency’s incompetence, as well as criticized the announcement’s grammar and logo design.
