In the latest episode of Pixid‘s Country Kitchen Dream, she walked around a traditional Korean village doing several tasks. It was a peaceful area which helped her enjoy the scenery despite the busy nature of her job.

At one point, she stated that the village hall feels familiar to her now.

I feel at home there now.

She likened it to her experience in the agency that she is signed to: CUBE Entertainment, saying that she is “kinda comfortable but kinda uncomfortable” there.

It’s like being at CUBE. Kinda comfortable but kinda uncomfortable.

 Soyeon

(G)I-DLE debuted under CUBE Entertainment in 2018. Since the beginning, Soyeon has earned praise for spearheading each comeback as the group’s head producer.

She has previously talked about how the company does not always support her decisions. They greatly opposed her releasing their song “DUMDi DUMDi,” for example, saying it would not do well.

There were quite many times where we almost used someone else’s song…my company said ‘DUMDi DUMDi’ is not good and they wanted to get another song. There were some villains.

In related news, Soyeon has recently paused all activities due to health reasons.
