HYBE has announced plans to file complaint with the investigative agency against Min Hee-jin.

On the 25th, HYBE announced results of the audit conducted on ADOR on the 22nd confirming specific facts of CEO Min Hee-jin’s plan to seize management rights. HYBE stated that they have secured physical evidence and transcripts that contain action plans such as “preparing media play in May” and “turning ADOR into an empty shell” and “I’m taking New Jeans out.”

According to HYBE, subjects of the audit were discovered to have discussed terminating New Jeans contract. During the investigation, one of the audit subjects submitted information assets (evidence) to HYBE containing plans to seize management rights and contacts with external investors. The audit subject also admitted to writing documents to attack HYBE.

According to face-to-face investigations and transcripts included, CEO Min Hee-jin instructed management to “develop a way to pressure HYBE to sell its ADOR shares.” According to this instruction, methods of terminating the exclusive contract with New Jeans and invalidating the contract between ADOR CEO and HYBE were discussed in detail.

There were also conversations such as, “let’s bring in global funds and force a deal with HYBE.” “Let’s get appeals for everything HYBE does..” “Think of ways to harass HYBE.”

HYBE was also able to obtain statements from the audit subject confirming that “wording in the document to ‘ultimately escape HYBE'” were ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin’s words.

HYBE added, “based on relevant materials obtained, we plan to file a complaint against the relevant individuals on charges of breach of trust etc., We will do our best to provide psychological and emotional care for New Jeans and support them for a successful comeback in the future. We plan to meet with members’ legal representatives as soon as possible to discuss ways to protect the members.”

HYBE CEO Park Ji-won stated, “We apologize to our fans, artists, and members for the inconvenience caused by what happened in the process of upgrading the multi-label. Now that the incident has been resolved, we hope for the psychological healing and emotional stability of artists who are a valuable asset of K-pop. I will do my best.”
