The Land of Happiness unveiled its main poster and final trailer.

The text on the poster reads, “There is someone who must be saved in the 1979 presidential assassination trial.”

Despite facing an unfair trial, Park Tae Joo remains steadfast in his beliefs. Even in the poster, one can see the change in Park Tae Joo’s emotions as he watches Jung In Hoo sincerely defending him. Whereas, the head of the joint investigation team Jeon Sang Doo’s expression showing his excessive desire for greater power evokes tension.

The final trailer begins with Park Tae Joo revealing his thoughts before the October 26 presidential assassination incident.

With his trembling voice, scenes from the October 26 presidential assassination incident, and lawyer Jung In Hoo, who does not believe him that he was involved in the incident under the orders of his superior, sequentially appear. The trailer then shows Jung In Hoo taking on Park Tae Joo’s trial for the sake of his reputation and personal gain.

But, he gradually experiences a change of heart as he sees the trial being unfairly conducted due to the influence of the head of the joint investigation team, Jeon Sang Doo, and Park Tae Joo refusing to give statements that are favorable to him to stay true to his beliefs as a soldier and his loyalty to his superiors.

The Land of Happiness is set to premiere on August 14. Watch the trailer here
