Kang Ha Na confirmed to reunite with 2PM’s Lee Jun Ho in “Cashero”

Kang Han Na is confirmed to join the upcoming fantasy action Netflix K-drama Cashero starring 2 PM’s Lee Jun Ho.

On May 21, media outlets reported that Kang Han Na will join the star-studded cast of the upcoming webtoon-based K-drama Cashero.

Kang Han Na’s agency KeyEast also confirmed the reports. According to the agency, “Kang Han Na will be joining the cast of the K-drama Cashero.” The agency, however, declined to comment on the role of Kang Han Na in the series.

The actress is currently starring in the JTBC K-drama Frankly Speaking with Go Kyung Pyo, Joo Jong Hyuk, Shin Jung Keun, Kang Ae Shim, and Hwang Sung Bin. 

Kang Han Na is known for being part of the K-dramas Bloody Heart, Bite Sisters, My Roommate Is a Gumiho, Start-Up, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and more. 

This upcoming K-drama will be the reunion of Kang Han Na and Lee Jun Ho after almost seven years. The two worked together in the 2017 K-drama Just Between Lovers.

Lee Jun Ho, Kim Hye Joon. Kim Byung Chul, Kim Hyang Gi, Lee Chae Min, and Kim Ji Ahn will lead the upcoming K-drama Cashero. 

Cashero will tell the stories of ordinary superheroes who protect ordinary people’s daily lives. The K-drama will showcase the life of a superhero named Kang Sang Woong who has gained superpowers through the cash in his hand. He decided to save the world by spending everything he had. The series will be based on a webtoon of the same name written by Lee Hoon and illustrated by No Hye Ok.

According to reports, Kang Han Na got the offer to portray the villain character in the series which was not originally in the webtoon. She will possibly act as Joanna, the daughter of a conglomerate family. 

The upcoming K-drama will be the collaboration work of director  Lee Chang Min ( Agency, Monthly Magazine Home, and Eulachacha Waikiki) and writers Jeon Chan Ho and Lee Je In.

Cashero will reportedly premiere in 2025 and will exclusively air on Netflix.
