After a recent music show, FEARNOTs jumped to Eunchae’s defense after she was accused of side-eyeing NewJeans and raising brows to Danielle while the group was giving their commemorative speech.
On May 31, the latest episode of KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” aired, hosted by LE SSERAFIM Hong Eunchae and Moon Sangmin. 
On this day, a star-studded artist lineup joined the show including EXO Chen, Jay Park, aespa, ARTMS, ATEEZ, DXMON, JD1, ZEROBASEONE, XG, NewJeans and more.
During the battle for the No.1 song for this week then, NewJeans dominated and took the first place with their double single track, “How Sweet.”
At the moment, the group publicly expressed its gratitude to Min Hee Jin, CEO of their label ADOR.
Minji dedicated their win to Bunnies & Min, saying:
“NewJeans made a comeback after 10 months, and I really want to say thank you to the Bunnies (fandom name) for always waiting for us.
Our CEO always gives us the best support and helped us make this comeback really cool. I really want to say thank you to the ADOR family as well, the hair & makeup staff, and the management.”

Danielle continued:
“Once again, we would like to say thank you to our CEO, whom we love and cherish so much. We love you, CEO. We are so happy to be able to perform with Bunnies on such a cool stage. Thank you, Bunnies.”
This was supposed to be a heartwarming moment for NewJeans; however, some of their fans complained on Twitter about how LE SSERAFIM and “Music Bank” MC Eunchae acted during NewJeans’ speech.
In a video, the fan accused Eunchae of setting up Danielle to make her look like she interrupted her. In the snippet, she was also seen “side-eyeing” NewJeans and raising brows to Danielle when giving her thanks to ADOR’s CEO.

When she realized that the camera was focused on her, she then gave a professional smile. As a result, Eunchae is receiving hateful comments from Bunnies.
However, FEARNOTs and other netizens defended Eunchae by giving a wider view of what happened. In the edited clip, it seems like she gave an attitude to the NewJeans member, but in a longer video, it can be seen that after Minji spoke, Eunchae was supposed to do her outro.

She looked in Minji’s direction, which was mistaken to be “side-eyeing” NewJeans and waited for her cue that she already finished saying her speech.
Just when Eunchae was about to say her line, Danielle added something to their speech, making it look like she “cut” her off.
But seeing this, fans insisted that it is a common mistake and the “raised brows” didn’t mean anything but a reflex only when things become awkward.
