Escape has unveiled character stills featuring Koo Kyo Hwan, who plays State Security Department Major Ri Hyeon Sang in the upcoming K-movie.
Escape follows Sergeant Lim Kyu Nam (Lee Je Hoon) of North Korea, planning to escape to the South, and State Security Department Major Ri Hyeon Sang (Koo Kyo Hwan) trying to stop him. 
Hyeon Sang is a character relentlessly chasing Kyu Nam (Lee Je Hoon), who strives to escape North Korea in search of freedom.
Director Lee Jong Pil explained, “Hyeon Sang seems to be living a very satisfying life at present, but I thought he would also have some worries. In that sense, I thought Hyeon Sang might be a character in need of escape internally.”
Talking about his character, Parasyte: The Grey actor said, “Hyeon Sang continues to question himself even while chasing. He is not just chasing with the simple thought of catching Kyu Nam but is caught up in various emotions because of Kyu Nam while chasing him.”
Escape will get its domestic release on July 3. Before its domestic release, the K-movie has been pre-sold to 163 countries, including Taiwan, the Philippines, Australia, the UK, and France. In North America, Escape will be released in theaters on July 5.
