Disney+ will be premiering a new reality series titled My Name Is Gabriel later this month, starring Park Bo-gum and other South Korean celebrities.

Filmed in Chiang Mai, Chongqing, Guadalajara and Dublin, My Name Is Gabriel will follow the five celebrities as they are assigned new AI-generated lives and then sent to live in a foreign city. The upcoming series follows the entertainers as they try their hand at living ordinary lives for 72 hours.

My Name Is Gabriel will star Reply 1988’s Park Bo-gum, The Worst of Evil’s Ji Chang-wook, comedian Park Myung-soo (Infinity Challenge), actress Yeom Hye-ran (The Glory) and TV host Gabee.

In a new trailer for the series, the five stars reflect on their experiences from the show. Park Bo-gum and Gabee appear to have been assigned jobs related to music and performing, while Ji Chang-wook is seen doing agricultural work.

“Celebrities should go through more hardships like this,” says Ji Chang-wook, while Park Bo-gum shares that he thinks he would be living this life if he had not become an actor. Meanwhile, Park Myung-soo and Yeom Hye-ran are seen working in a street food stall and restaurant.

My Name Is Gabriel premieres exclusively on Disney+ on June 21. The series is notably helmed by South Korean producer Kim Tae-ho, who created the hit variety series Infinity Challenge, also starring Park Myung-soo.

In other news, BLACKPINK’s Lisa has begun teasing her next solo music release across her social media accounts and website. The as-yet-unnamed project will be her first solo music since debuting with the singles ‘Lalisa’ and ‘Money’ in September 2021.
