Billboard said Sunday (U.S. time) in a preview of this week’s chart that the album amassed 54,000 album-equivalent units, including 43,000 album sales, in the United States during the charting period.

This marks his second solo album ever to be on the chart, following his first album, “Indigo,” in 2022, which peaked at No. 3.

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S., measured by equivalent album units, comprising conventional album sales, streaming and digital sales.

“‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ was preceded by the single ‘Come Back to Me,’ which reached the top 30 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excluding U.S. charts,” Billboard said. “The album’s first-week sales were supported by its availability across 13 different CD variants, all containing branded paper merch and other collectibles.” (Yonhap)
