Thankfully, nobody was hurt!
SEVENTEEN‘s concert in Goyang, South Korea, was temporarily halted after a horrific fire broke out on stage.
The fire was seen on top of the stage among the many light fixtures. Once staff noticed the accident, they urged the group off stage.

While the fire wasn’t massive, it still created a lot of smoke, which was a hazard for fans right below it. In several clips and videos you can see fans trying to blow the smoke away from them with their SEVENTEEN merch. There was also the fear that it could grow into a bigger fire very quickly. However, the staff quickly prevented any further danger.

There was a 20-minute delay during which the staff dealt with the hazard. The situation was tricky as the fire was at the very top of the massive stage. However, a staff member was seemingly able to climb up onto the railings full of light fixtures and stop the fire before it grew uncontrollably.

Once the fire died following the quick actions of the staff, CARATs in the venue applauded the staff member and the show was able to continue!
Oh seventeen🥺🥺🥺 They must have been so worried, but they managed to play it off🥺
“How hot was it there that it got on fire?!”

The SEVENTEEN members got back on stage and even mentioned the hazard with a few lighthearted jokes after the risk was gone.
“seventeen and carats are so hot just like this! ”
