Solar, the singer under RBW and member of the girl group MAMAMOO and its sub-unit MAMAMOO+, made a solo comeback today on April 30, 2024 with her second mini album “Colours” and the song “But I” as the album's title track . The album will contain six tracks and the physical release on will come out in one CD version (Palette Ver.) and two Nemo versions (Reborn Beige and Midnight Blue). “Colours” is the follow-up to Solar's seventh digital single “Solar Gamsung Part.7”, released on January 18, 2024, and her first mini album “容: Face” released on March 16, 2022.

Mini Review
“But I” is an emotional and hard-hitting, rock power ballad, a genre that should have been way out of the comfort zone of your average K-pop idol and yet Solar delivers such a powerful performance that makes you think she's a genuine , seasoned rock-star. The music video with a current rock band playing their instruments in the middle of the desert, amid caskets and flames, brings to mind music videos from certain heavy metal groups, adding an extra note of authenticity to the whole concept.
