Song Review: Han Seungwoo (Victon) – Blooming

[ad_1]

Han Seungwoo has been active as a soloist for years now, but I have a hard time recalling any of his music. He’s a polished performer with a great voice. He just needs songs that cater to those skills while leaving behind a hook or melody that resonates beyond the comeback’s short promotional period.

Unfortunately, Blooming is unlikely to be that song. It’s another pleasant mid-tempo with solid execution and an enjoyable vibe. I could see this sneaking onto a summer playlist between bigger hits, but it’s unlikely to draw attention on its own. And just as the song unveils some nice vocal layering during its finale, Blooming ends without delivering the cathartic wallop it seems to be teasing.
