Streaming Platform TVing Beats Netflix Total Viewership Numbers Last Week For the First Time Ever Thanks to Lovely Runner

In yet another record set by Lovely Runner, or record set thanks to Lovely Runner, cable network tvN‘s hit Mon-Tues drama was exclusively streaming on TVING and last week the total viewership hours came out and for the first time in history it beat out streaming giant Netflix. Last week TVING had a total viewership of 2.5M hours watched and Netflix has 2.4, and the increase for TVING has reportedly been huge leaps since Lovely Runner premiered and started to gain buzz. The viewership numbers for TVING also went up to 2.17M, and in comparison per day Netflix has 2.3M. The expectation is that the surge is temporary and Netflix will be back on top but still, it does to show that the reach of LR on the buzz and online (i.e. younger audience) demographic is genuinely huge. However, LR is not and is not expected to ever reach the number 1 streamed drama on TVING of all time, that record was set recently by Queen of Tears which streaming domestically on TVING while airing globally on Netflix.
