  • Kang Daniel filed a criminal complaint against the majority shareholder of Konnect, alleging embezzlement, breach of trust, and forgery. Artists Yuju, We Dem Boyz, and Chancellor have all left the company, and Kang Daniel is also taking steps to close the agency.
  • Developments in the Hybe/Ador situation:
    • Hybe officials appeared before the Seoul Metropolitan Police for questioning in the investigation of breach of trust by Ador executives.
    • Illit‘s label Belift Lab filed a criminal complaint, alleging that Min Hee-jin‘s accusations of plagiarism constitute obstruction of business.
    • CEOs Han Seongsoo and So Seongjin, producers PDogg and Slow Rabbit, BigHit performance director Son Sungdeuk, and Le Sserafim creative director Kim Seonghyun filed petitions in support of Hybe. Meanwhile, 10,000 NewJeans fans sent petitions in support of Min Hee-jin.


  • Aespa will have a sci-fi horror concept for Armageddon, out on May 27.
  • Jay Park announced a collaboration with Kiss of Life’s Natty on his May 28 digital single album Jay Park Season 2.
  • Treasure teased the MV for “King Kong,” also scheduled for a May 28 release.
  • Yves of Loona will release her first EP Loop on May 29.
  • Artms will debut with Dall on May 31.
  • WayV teased their album Give Me That, scheduled for a June 3 release.
  • AKMU will also make their comeback with Love Episode that day.
  • Kep1er’s first full album Kep1going On will also come out on June 3.
  • Badvillain announced their debut with Overstep, also out that day.
  • Han Seungwoo of Victon will release solo single album Scene on June 5.
  • Infinite will drop the digital single “Flower” on June 9.
  • Everglow will come back with Zombie on June 10.
  • Cignature will also show their Sweetie But Saltie sides on June 10.
  • Trendz will have a Dreamlike single album out on June 12.
  • Twice’s Nayeon will return with her second solo album Na on June 14.
  • Seventeen’s Jeonghan and Wonwoo will drop single album This Man on June 17.
  • TWS will bring listeners Our Memories: Now on June 24.
  • SF9’s Dawon will enlist in the military on July 1.
  • AOA’s Dohwa (formerly Chanmi) has left FNC Entertainment following the expiration of her contract.
  • Rocket Punch’s Juri terminated her contract. The group will continue with 5 members.
  • Beenzino and his wife are expecting their first child. Congratulations to the couple!
  • Girl’s Day‘s Hyeri signed with a new company, Sublime Artist Agency.
