Review

Yuqi made a spooky and stylish debut with a song that can only be described as a bold anthem celebrating self-confidence and embracing one's uniqueness. In the music video Yuqi finds herself haunted by iconic horror movie characters from horror movies such as Scream, Saw, and The Shining. However, as the video progresses, Yuqi befriends those “freaks” and they end up forming a band together.

The song itself showcases a new side of Yuqi, with the (G)I-DLE member singing the entire track in English, like she did in all her previous solo tracks. Overall, this is a bold and memorable solo debut for Yuqi, but unfortunately it has been reported that the song has been deemed unable to be broadcast nationally by KBS due to a violation of broadcasting regulations. The song was found to have violated Article 46 of the Broadcasting Review Regulations, which pertains to restrictions on advertising effects or brand mentions.
