I.N, a member of K-pop boy group Stray Kids, has joined a group of major donors dedicated to helping underprivileged children.
ChildFund Korea, a Seoul-based NGO dedicated to children’s welfare, said on Friday that the 23-year-old star became the 474th and youngest member of its Green Noble Club, which is comprised of donors who have made contributions of more than 100 million won ($73,000).
His donation is expected to be used to support underprivileged children, including for providing daily essentials such as baby food and medical supplies.
“I have made a contribution, hoping that all children would be able to enjoy their everyday life and grow in love while dreaming their dreams,” he said in a statement released through ChildFund Korea. “I’m glad that I could share the love I have received from my fans.”
The eight-member group is scheduled to meet their fans at the Italian music festival I-Days in Milan on July 12 and at British Summer Time Hyde Park in London two days later. The following month, the group will headline Lollapalooza in Chicago, a major music festival in the U.S.
