IVE‘s Wonyoung was as shocked as netizens after sweating during a recent show.
Recently, IVE stole the hearts of netizens with their performance at Super Sonic in Japan. The performance was really hot, and not just because of the intense heat Japan is feeling due to the time of year.
Yet, it seems like the members of IVE felt the heat, not just because of how hot the weather was. In a video shared online, netizens shared how Wonyoung seemed to be feeling the hear in Osaka.

Even photos showed just how hot the weather was as Wonyoung was seen dripping with sweat.
After the photos were posted, netizens shared their shock at seeing Wonyoung sweat because despite years in the industry, they rarely saw the idol sweat.

As shocked as netizens were, it seemed like Wonyoung was just as surprised.
On her messages to fans, Wonyoung shared just how hot it was during the performance and that she isn’t someone who normally sweats or is impacted by the heat.
- “But yesterday, when I was performing in Osaka…
- It was the hottest day I’ve ever experienced in my life.
- Wonyoung is melting away.
- Seriously, Japan’s summer…
- It was really, really hot!!
- I don’t usually sweat much or feel the heat, you know?
She then explained that after dancing to a few songs, she felt sweat trickling down and it took her some time to realize that it was sweat. Wonyoung added that even the people around her were shocked to see the sweat.

- So I was like, ‘What is this?’
- And then I realized, it was my sweat! LOL.
- That’s when the ‘Melting of Wonyoung’ began.
- When I got off the stage, people around me know I don’t usually sweat…
- So everyone around me was surprised, like, ‘Is Wonyoung sweating right now?
While netizens were surprised, it seems like Wonyoung was equally shocked that she was sweating.
