No One Ships Fan-Favorite “Hierarchy” Couple More Than The Actors Themselves

Netflix‘s anticipated K-Drama Hierarchy premiered on June 7 with all seven episodes, giving netizens something to binge-watch over the weekend. This high-school-based thriller stars Lee Chae Min, Roh Jeong Eui, Kim Jae Won, Lee Won Jung, and Ji Hye Won.

Jooshin High School is the most prestigious school in South Korea. The school was established by the conglomerate Jooshin Group. Normally, only students that are chosen at birth to attend Jooshin High School are allowed. Those students include Jung Jae-I (Roh Jeong-Eui), who is is the first daughter of the family that runs Jaeyool Group, Kim Ri-An (Kim Jae-Won) who is the successor of the Jooshin Group, Yoon He-Ra (Ji Hye-Won) who is the youngest daughter of trading company International Yoon, and Lee Woo-Jin (Lee Won-Jung) who is second son of a powerful politician family.

The K-Drama primarily focused on the complicated “love triangle” of Jae I, Kang Ha, and Ri An.

Yet, viewers cared more for the complex relationship between He Ra and Woo Jin.

Along with Ri An and Jae I, Woo Jin and He Ra have been friends for many years. Although Woo Jin loved He Ra, they were kept apart for numerous reasons. He Ra not only had a one-sided crush on her best friend’s boyfriend, but she had sex with another student at Woo Jin’s birthday party! If that wasn’t bad enough, Woo Jin had a shocking, questionable, and intimate relationship with their teacher…

Regardless of these characters’ flaws, viewers couldn’t help but ship them throughout the K-Drama’s seven episodes. We were given hope that the two would go from friends to lovers when Woo Jin “chose” He Ra over everyone else by the end of the series. Yet, it remains to be seen whether or not they really became a couple.

the chemistry is chemistrying between them, like c’mon, he got those heart eyes all the time when she’s there in the same room. we were robbed so badly #leewoojin #yoonhera #hierarchy #hierarchyedit #jihyewonleewonjung #hierarchykdrama viral #fypツ #kdramas #kdramaedit

Viewers felt robbed that we never got to really see He Ra and Woo Jin as a couple. Actors Lee Won Jung and Ji Hye Won had so much chemistry, and fans feel it was totally “wasted,” as they never even shared a kiss onscreen, although we got a few cute interactions, including an epilogue.

Now, not only are Hierarchy viewers shipping this couple and praying they are endgame in a potential Season 2 (as hinted by the finale’s post-credits scene)…

But it appears the actors themselves are shipping it, too.

First of all, the Hierarchy co-stars have history. They previously worked together on the 2023 K-Drama My Perfect Stranger.

Recently, Won Jung’s followers noticed he had been sharing all of Hye Won’s Instagram posts to his Instagram Stories. It’s giving “supportive boyfriend” vibes.

Previously, Won Jung also shared a cute photo of himself with Hye Won.

Likewise, she shared many photos (and even a video) with him. They look so good together!

Yet, their interactions in the comment section of posts have netizens wondering if they’re interrupting. The co-stars have been “cosplaying” as their characters, being extra flirty!

They give such real-life couple vibes! Their chemistry was undeniable even during the cast’s guest appearance on Knowing Bros.

If all that wasn’t enough to make you believe their love is real, Won Jung liked and commented on Hye Won’s latest Instagram post, and he’s 100% Woo Jin. He even replied to a fan’s comment, suggesting they should date.

No one ships each other more than Hye Won and Won Jung!
